Judith K. Meleski

Judith Kan Meleski born to eternal life on April 30, 2022, at the age of 66. Loving mother to Rebecca (Matthew) Heimerl, Sarah (Balwinder Kumar), Stephen (Kat), Mary (Andrew) Del Rossi, the late Matthew, Jason, Ann, Jay Nyhart, Kenneth (Michele), Mark (Jodean), and Michael (Amie). Proud grandmother of 24 and great-grandmother of 5. Cherished sister of Dave (Glae) Kan, Steve (Cindy) Kan, and Jim (Debbie) Kan. Preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Katherine. Further survived by many other friends and relatives. Judy was born and raised in Petoskey, Michigan along with her three brothers. After graduating from Alma College, she moved to Milwaukee for work where she met her husband, Michael. Through her marriage, she became a mother of 5 children and then had 5 more children with Michael. Together, they raised a family rooted in love and faith. Throughout Judy’s life, she had a strong faith in God and belonged to a faith family at Our Lady of Lourdes. She poured so much of her love and energy into Lourdes and always encouraged others to live out their faith. Judy also enjoyed sports, food, puzzles, frogs, and playing games. She loved everyone in her life unconditionally and never had a bad thing to say about anyone. She was adored by her family and friends and her sense of humor and infectious laugh will always be remembered. Everyone knew Judy to be an incredibly kind and nurturing woman, always making people feel welcomed and accepted for who they are. She loved finding gifts in others and helping them find ways to share them with the world. Memories people have shared with Judy will be cherished forever. She will be missed deeply by many people but her spirit will live on through the legacy she left behind. Visitation at OUR LADY OF LOURDES CATHOLIC CHURCH (3722 S. 58th St., Milw. WI) Friday May 6, 2022 from 5-7 PM. A further visitation will be held at the CHURCH on Saturday May 7, 2022 from 1:30 - 2:15 Pm with the Funeral Mass to begin at 2:30 PM. Private Interment.
