Judith Ann Tylenda
June 10, 1936 - September 4, 2023
Judy's eighty-seven year life journey ended peacefully on Labor Day Monday. She was a lifelong resident of Greendale and graduated from Greendale High School with the class of 1954. Following high school she was employed as a secretary for Marquette University. Her enjoyment of floral design eventually led her into the position of manager in the floral department at Pic 'n Save.
Throughout her life Judy loved to cook and could be found creating something tasty in the kitchen for family and friends. Landscaping all the open spaces around her home was another passion. Her hands were never idle as she crocheted hundreds of baby blankets for pregnancy centers and missionaries.
Her dearly beloved fur babies Mandy and Molly were awaiting her arrival in heaven alongside her parents Sigmund and Alice Tylenda and her younger brother Noel.
Survivors include her devoted loving sister Kathy Knaack of Milwaukee and her brother Tom Tylenda of Gleason, Wisconsin. Nephews Robert (Tara) Knaack of Los Angeles, California, David (Jenni) Knaack of Sturtevant, Wisconsin, great nephews Elijah and Dexter, and great niece Emily.
Visitation Thursday September 14, 2023 from 10 am until 11:15 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (8500 W. Cold Spring Road). Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery Friday at 1030 am.
