Judith Ann "Judy" Zaffke

Judith Ann “Judy” Zaffke (Nee Lesniewski). Passed peacefully on October 12, 2020 at the age of 74. Preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Irene; husband Harold; and brothers Gerald (Kathleen) and Robert (Judith). Loving mother of Lee (Dawne). Cherished grandma of Jacob Daniel and Riley. Further survived by her brother Richard (Shari), several nieces and nephews and many friends. Judy graduated from Bay View High School and retired after working for many years as a clerk for the Milwaukee Police Department. She was a longtime member of the Red Hats and loved to take cooking classes. Judy LOVED Barry Manilow and was a member of the Barry Manilow Fan Club. Dancing with the Stars and American Idol were among her favorite shows and she could recite every winner, every season. She enjoyed community activities at Wilson Senior Center, belonged to the 55 Club at St Helen’s Church and the Older Adults program at the Greenfield Department of Parks and Recreation. A special thank you to the staff at St Luke’s Hospital that took care of Judy throughout her journey to find peace. There will be a private graveside service this fall and a Celebration of Judy’s life on her birthday June 26th, 2021. Mom, we love you and you will be missed.
