Joshua E. John

On Sunday, November 28th, 2021, Joshua Everett John, beloved son, brother, uncle and nephew, unexpectedly passed away at the age of 46. Josh was born January 18, 1975 in Milwaukee, WI to Jacqueline John. Josh was a proud member of the Oneida Tribe, Turtle Clan. He attended St. Josaphat School where he was a star basketball player on a championship team. He also attended high schools in the Milwaukee area including Bay View and Custer. Josh had a passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed spending time in nature, including fishing, hiking and sleeping under the stars. Josh also loved music, old westerns and playing video games. He was known for his love of nephews and niece, his dedication to his siblings and mother as well as his infectious smile and willingness to always lend a helping hand. Joshua is preceded in death by his grandmothers and grandfathers. He is survived by his mother, Jacqueline John, his sisters, Justine Donnelly (Zach Derksen), Julia Remington (Christian Remington) and Janell Donnelly, his brother Douglas (Bridget Lyons), step father Joseph Donnelly, uncles, aunts, cousin and five nephews and a niece. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 29th, 2021 at Congregation of the Great Spirit (1000 W Lapham Blvd, Milwaukee, WI 53204) at 10 o'clock a.m.
