Joseph R. Miklas

Miklas, Joseph R. Of Caledonia, WI. Entered into eternal life on January 4, 2012 at the age of 91. He was born on June 9, 1920 in Milwaukee, the son of Frank and Rosalia Miklas. Loving husband to Marion Miklas and Proud father of Lynn Oswald and Michael Olszyk. Preceded to our Lord by his first wife, Betty and son, James. Joe is fondly remembered by surviving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Joe was a U.S. Marine in May, 1942 on Corregidor, the Philippines. He courageously survived the "Bataan Death March" and eventual imprisonment in Japan. Joe participated in the World War II Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. in November, 2010.
