Joseph Michael Badora "Joey" age 23 of Greenfield, passed away unexpectedly joining the cherished love of his life, Maria Buhler on April 4, 2020. Beloved son of Dyan (nee Dahlman) and Michael. Loving brother of Darold and Collette. Dear Grandson of Ralph and Merilyn Dahlman, Carol Badora and the late Darold Badora. Also loved by his Aunts and Uncles Dean and Cathy Dahlman, Dane and Judy Dahlman, Dawn Dahlman-Schwab, Vicki and Shawn Timblin and Great Aunts Sharon Smith and Betty Gronowski. Great Uncle Roger Dudkiewicz and Great Aunt Judie Kuchta. Further loved and survived Maria’s parents Curt and Dawn Buhler and Maria’s brothers Michael and Mitchell Buhler also by all of his cousins, other relatives and many friends. Joey was a graduate of Greenfield High School, Worked for City of Greenfield Parks & Recreation (Employee of the year 2017). Graduate of MATC in High Voltage Power Distribution, Member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical workers (IBEW) and Missouri Valley JATC (Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee). Joey was currently Employed with MP Systems as a 2nd Step Lineman Apprentice working side by side with his cousins Chris Schwab, Nick Timblin and his brother Darold Badora. Joey was very athletic and was a daredevil. He loved snowboarding, snowmobiling, hunting, going to Rhinelander with family, wake boarding, boating, drawing and his years in football at Greenfield High School. Joey was always ready to help others, very sentimental and had a soft spot for his whole family and would do anything for them. He loved to goof around with his siblings and his girlfriend (Maria). He really looked up to his brother Darold, protected his sister Collette and loved all his puppies. A memorial gathering and celebration of Joey's life will be held at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 6060 W Loomis Rd, Greendale, on Saturday, June 27th, 10 AM to 12:45 PM, Mass of Christian Burial at 1 PM. April is National Donate Life Month, in honor of Joey and Maria please consider registering to be an Organ Donor or make a donation to Versiti Organ Donor organization or a charity of your choice. Joey was a Organ Donor and gave the gift of life. His family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Froedtert Hospital ER, S-ICU, and Versiti Organ Donation Staff for their care and compassion. A memorial tree planting to celebrate Joey's life will be held at Konkel Park on Sunday, August 16. Follow up on social media for times.
