Joseph "Joe" Andrew Martinez

Martinez, Joseph "Joe" Andrew Age 41, of Milwaukee, went to be with our Lord peacefully in his sleep on Thursday April 3rd, 2014. Beloved son of Bernardino J. and Gabrielle (nee Riojas). Caring brother of Bernardino Jr. "Nino" (Edith), Rachel (David Kernan), and Matthew. Joe was the adoring uncle of Jacqui, Adan, Ana, and Benjamin. Precious grandson of Margaret and the late Richard Riojas as well as the late Jesus and Aurora Martinez. Joe is further survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, and other relatives. Joe graduated from Milwaukee Hamilton High School Class of 1991 and received his Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts from Milwaukee Area Technical College in 1994. A visitation will be held at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel on Friday, April 11th from 9-11 a.m. Rosary service at 11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Joe's honor to the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Joe had great determination and will in everything he did. He liked exploring new restaurants and spending time with family. He also enjoyed cooking delicious meals and sharing them with everyone. Max A.
