Olen, Joseph F. "Joe" Born to Eternal Life May 23, 2015 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of Genevieve (Nee Cebulski) Olen for 70 years. Loving dad of Veronica (the late Robert) Kolimaga, Monica and the late Maria Olen. Dear gramps of Kevin and Brian (Marcia) Kolimaga. Dear G.G. of Morgan, Allison, Sydney and Ethan Kolimaga. Brother of Harry and Fran Olen. Brother-in-law of Alice Tabatowski and Gene (Lynn) Cebulski. Further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Joe graduated from Milwaukee State Teachers College which eventually became U.W.M. where he received his Masters Degree in education. He was a member of Phi Delta Kappa, Green Gulls, Knights of Columbus former Grand Knight, member of Wisconsin Teachers Association and the American Polish Society. Joe retired from Burrow's Middle School as Assistant Principal in 1984, and he was also an avid golfer. A visitation will be held at the MAX A. SASS & SONS Funeral Home on Sunday May 31, 2015 from 1 - 5 PM with a vigil service at 4:30PM. An additional visitation will be held at St. Roman Church (1710 W. Bolivar. Milw. WI) on Monday June 1st from 10 - 10:45 AM with the Funeral Mass to begin at 11 AM. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Donations to the Special Olympics or Autism Speaks would be appreciated. Max A.
