Jon J. Palleon

Palleon, Jon J. Age 23 passed away peacefully at home on August 13th, 2007 following a courageous 15 month battle with cancer. A lifelong resident of Greendale. Jon attended St. Alphonsus grade school, Greendale High School, and UW-Milwaukee School of Business. Loving sports, he played soccer, basketball, baseball, and football, proudly wearing the #13 on his baseball and football jerseys. He learned early in life that team spirit is important in every game. Members of Jon's team included many faithful and devoted friends who were there for him continuously. Jon's strength was inspirational and his love for life never-ending. His courage and spirit will always be remembered by his parents, Chuck & Arlene Palleon, sisters Kristin (Tim) Parey, Kim (Jim) Bretzel, Kathi (David) Corneliuson, nieces and nephews Wyatt Parey, Alyssa, Alex, Joe, Sam Bretzel, and Emma and Ethan Corneliuson. He has touched the lives of many aunts, uncles, cousins, coworkers at Community Memorial Hospital, and special friends Andy Wenzel, Ashley and Ben Porath. We extend our most sincere gratitude to the attentive, compassionate staff at Oncology Alliance and Wheaton Franciscan Health Care. Together, your guidance, reassurance, and friendship made Jon's journey to peace achievable. Visitation at the MAX A. SASS & SONS MISSION HILLS CHAPEL, on Friday August 17, 2007 from 3 - 8 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM. A further visitation will take place on Saturday from 8:15 AM - 8:45 AM. Funeral services beginning at 8:45 AM from the funeral home to St. Alphonsus Church for the Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM. Jon will be laid to rest at St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions to ''Jon's Journey'' %Continental Savings Bank, Hales Corners, WI. would be preferred.
