John was a Journeyman Machinist and a proud member of Union IAMAW United Lodge 66. He was a "master" gardener and an outdoor enthusiast. He loved boating, fishing, snorkeling, hiking, ice skating, and he was passionate about hockey, whether playing, watching, or refereeing. He was an expert auto mechanic, fine woodworker, and could fix anything. Most important, John was a kind-hearted soul, known for his willingness to lend a helping hand to all. A special thank you to Daniel Preston, John's spiritual advisor, for his guidance and friendship. John, you will always be loved, remembered and missed. As John always said when asked how he was doing, "livin' the dream!"
