John V. Sandoval Just "went down the road a piece" on January 8, 2022 at age 92. Lovingly survived by his wife Pam of 35 years. Beloved father of Linda (Victor) Nohl, Norm (Sandy) Sandoval, Dennis (Colleen) Sandoval, Jayne (Dick) Swanson and Jim (Barb) Funk. Proud grandpa and great grandpa of numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear brother of Nick (Sally) Sandoval. He will be loved, remembered and missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and other family in both Wisconsin and Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Procopio Sandoval and Juanita (Ernest) Valero and by his brothers Richard and Rudy. He was the proud owner of the successful and well known El Vagabond Restaurant in Milwaukee, WI. In 1985 he retired, moved to Texas and established a successful excavation business. He built countless custom homes, each one bigger than the last. John was an active member in the Mariachi y Coro De Colores choir at Mission San Jose. In 2010 John received a kidney transplant from his brother Nick and officially retired. Pam and John moved back to Wisconsin in 2013 to enjoy retirement and family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Frances Cabrini Church (1025 S. 7th Ave., West Bend, WI53095) on February 2, 2022 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to: Mission San Jose Church (6701 San Jose Dr., San Antonio, TX 78214) in John's name appreciated.
