Schlindwein, John T. Of Greendale, Found peace April 1, 2020 at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband of the late JoAnn Schlindwein. Loving father of the late Anthony F. Schlindwein, Stephanie (Diederik) Hemmes, Mark Schlindwein, Christine (Randall) Wierzba, and David Schlindwein. Proud grandfather of Nicole, Nathan, Stephen, Michelle, Scott, Sarah, Elizabeth, and Joseph. Great-grandfather of Jordan, Mason, Jada, Tamara, Claira, Liliana, and Bella. Longtime loving companion of Gloria Gestl. Further survived by other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at Max A Sass & Sons Funeral Homes-Greenridge Chapel (4747 S 60 St., Greenfield) on Friday, August 7. A visitation will be held from 4:30 pm until time of service at 6:30 pm. Masks are required for visitation and service. Memorials to the Alzheimer's Association appreciated. John was a wood shop teacher for over 30 years at Bayview High School.
