John Scott Hansen Passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018 at age 65, after a battle with cancer. John will be lovingly remembered by Sheri, his wife of 38 years, daughter Cori (Mike) Bliesner, son Erik (Casilynn) and dear grand daughter Ellison. Beloved son of Jack Hansen. Two sisters Barbara (Craig) Etherton and Gail (Andrew) McIntosh. He is further survived by many other friends and family. His kitty Wiggles will miss cuddles with his "Daddy". John is preceded in death by his mother Bonnie. John was employed at SC Johnson Wax for 35 years, retiring in 2012. John had many good times on the water with family and friends skiing, boating and fishing. Friday fish frys were not to be missed. Heading up north to the family cabin was one of his favorite trips, sitting around the campfire and enjoying nature and the woods. John developed a keen interest in photography, and had a very eclectic collection of cameras. He often had a camera with him to capture special moments. After serving in the US Army as a MARS radio operator in Okinawa, Japan as a young man, he carried his love of radios and electronics to ham radio with a group of buddies. He was always up for a good joke or prank and a laugh. John was very generous with his things, sharing whatever you needed. He was a big guy with a soft heart. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 21st from 4-7 pm at the Max A. Sass and Sons Funeral Home W173S7629 Westwood Dr., Muskego, WI. Church service at St. Paul's Lutheran Church (S66W14325 W. Janesville Rd., Muskego, WI) on Thursday, March 22nd at 11:00 am with visitation at 10:00 am. Private inurnment will be at Southern Wisconsin Veteran Memorial Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
