John Schoenrock

John Schoenrock, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully in Milwaukee on January 18, 2025, at age of 83. Born on September 1, 1941, in Milwaukee, John was a lifelong resident of the city he cherished.

A man of simple pleasures, John found joy in the great outdoors, with fishing and hunting holding special places in his heart. He also enjoyed sipping on a cold Pabst Blue Ribbon beer, often sharing laughter and stories around a campfire or at family gatherings. His passions were a reflection of his vibrant spirit and love for life, deeply woven into the memories he created with those around him.

John leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish the time spent with him. His children, Kim, Troy (Staci), and Tracy, remember him as a source of unconditional love and support. As a proud grandfather, he doted on his grandchildren, Heather, Corey, Casey, Ryan, Jes (Sidney), and Alyssa, taking great delight in their accomplishments and milestones. Additionally, he was a great-grandfather and is survived by other relatives who will carry his memory in their hearts.

John's siblings held a special bond with him, and he is survived by Claudette (Russ), Earl (Debbie), and Sally (Ken), who shared countless stories and moments of laughter with him throughout the years.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Ray and Lucille Schoenrock, and by his brother, Dennis (Penny), along with his nephew, Jay. The essence of John’s life, marked by his warmth, humor, and kindness, will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

As we pause to reflect on John's remarkable journey, we celebrate the life of a man who touched many lives and will be deeply missed yet cherished in the memories that will live on through his family and friends.
