John R. Moseler

Moseler, John P. Entered his eternal home on January 16, 2018. He was born April 29, 1944 in the Town of Peeksville in Ashland County, WI. His parents were George and Gertrude Bucheger Moseler. John married Marjorie Schroedel at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI on May 29, 1971. She preceded him in death on Sept 1, 2008. John attended parochial schools in Wis. Rapids and graduated from Assumption High School in 1962. He is a veteran of the United States Army including service in the Vietnam War from 1964-1967. He had a long career as a skilled machinest at Teledyne Wisconsin Motors and Waukesha Engines. He is preceded in death by his father, George in 1958, his mother, Gertrude in 2003, and his brother, Gerald Moseler, 2009, brother-in-law, Lonnie Wiggins, 2002, and brother-in-law William D. Gardner III, 2014. He is survived by his sons, Ty (Sherry) of Lisbon, WI, Tris of Waukesha and Ted of Big Bend, his grandchildren, Koy, Addy and Josey Moseler, his sisters Joanne Gardner of Lake Delton, WI, Patricia Shanks of Spooner, Wi, Ellen (Dave) Hertel of Sun City West, AZ, Teresa (John) Wisener of Hemet, CA, sister in law, Sharon Moseler of Menomonee, WI and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church (S89 W22650 Milwaukee Ave., Big Bend, WI) on Monday, January 22, 2018 from 9:30-10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 AM. He will be laid to rest at 11 AM on Tuesday at Calvary Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids, WI beside his wife and next to his parents. Pallbearers will be Don Czubin, Tim Hoff, Ken King, Jim Shanks, Gerry Walli and Joe Walli. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Joseph Church.
