Gilmore, John R. Of Caledonia. Died peacefully on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the age of 56. Beloved husband of Mary for 23 years. Dear step-father of Adam (Angie) Loder and Steven Loder. Loving Papa of Romeyo, Addison, Liam and Ashton. Loving son of Joyce Johnson and Jack (Marie) Gilmore. Son-in-law of Bernadine Hoefer and the late Robert Hoefer. Brother of Linda (Rich) Marasco, Michelle (Craig) Wagner, Danielle (Jim) Shore and Chris (Lisa) Tyran. Devoted Uncle Cheese Head to many nieces and nephews. Further survived by other relatives and friends. John was a dedicated State Park Police Officer and proud member of the James H. Hays Lodge #331 F. & A.M. Visitation at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel on Saturday, June 16 from 11AM - 12 Noon. Eulogies followed by Masonic Service starting at 12 Noon. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin or the Leukemia/Lymphoma Foundation at Froedtert Hospital appreciated.
