John Kruk

John Kruk passed away early Saturday morning November 5, 2011 at the age of 54 in his home in Dodgeville WI. John suffered a heart attack and passed peacefully. John was born August 2, 1957 in Frankfort Kentucky to Ron and Arline Kruk. John is the oldest brother in a family of eight. John is remembered by his siblings; his brothers Michael (Fort Atkinson, WI), Peter (Cedar Rapids, IA), Thomas (Milwaukee, WI), Paul (New Berlin, WI), James (Waukesha, WI), and Mark (Menomonee Falls, WI), and his sister Geri (Franklin, WI). John also will always be remembered by his ex-wife Dawn Kruk (Franklin, WI). John is survived by his God-Children Stephanie (Milwaukee, WI), and Rachael (Milwaukee, WI) and numerous nieces and nephews. John was an active member in the community and donated his time and money to charity regularly, including the local Humane Society, and painted homes with Project Home. John worked at Sentry Insurance (1 year) and Lands' End (10 years) and will be remembered by his co-workers. John owned a painting company, and is survived by his employees. John devoted his life to his three sons, Jeremy (Madison, WI), Andrew (Midland, MI) and Sam (Dodgeville, WI). John spent as much time with his boys as he could. They flipped homes together, owned businesses, played basketball, managed rental properties, and spent a ton of time building just about anything. John never missed one of his kids sporting events in 54 years, and was even known to be seen on the sideline of his kid's intramural sports in college. John was the person everyone looked up to. Everyone went to John for the answers to life's tough questions, and as the confident yet humble, father, brother, son, co-worker, boss, and friend he was to all of us, John never failed to deliver the perfect answer. Services for John will be at Max A. Sass, 4747 S. 60th St. Greenfield WI on Saturday, November 12 from 9:30-11:30am with a prayer and eulogy to be read around 11:10am.
