John Thomas Jaeger, of Muskego, Wisconsin, passed away on Friday January 10, 2025.

John was born on June 9th, 1944 to Etta and Marty Jaeger of South Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After John graduated from South Milwaukee High School, he went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. John spent most of his career in Industrial Sales, and ran his own Manufacturer’s Rep business, Hunter Associates. 

John met his wife Joannie in 1964, and they were married in 1966. John and Joannie went on to have two children, Deborah Ann and Patricia Ann. 

John was a loving father and coached both of his daughters Little League teams. He was an avid cross-country and downhill skier, and enjoyed camping with his wife and children in many state parks. He was very fond of the Grand Tetons in Wyoming, and explored them with his lifelong best friend, Clayton. John loved spending time in his home on a lake with his wife Joannie, and sitting by the fire at night. 

John was an ardent Drumcorps and sports fan. He enjoyed rooting for the Green Bay Packers, Marquette Warrior basketball, and University of Wisconsin Badgers Football and Basketball.

John is survived by his wife Joannie (Romanowski), his brother Jay (Gail), his daughters Deborah (Jeff) Gale and Patricia Herman, and was very proud of his Grandchildren Samantha Herman, Nathaniel (Anna) Gale, and Adam Herman.

John was preceded in death by his Father, Martin, his Mother, Etta, his brother James “Butch”, and his sister Mickey Ring.

The family will be having a private “Celebration of Life” at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Hales Corners Lutheran Church music program located at 12300 Janesville Rd #2350, Hales Corners, WI 53130.
