Wintheiser, John J. Entered into Eternal Life on Friday, May 8, 2009 at the age of 85. Beloved best friend and husband of Patricia(nee Hunn) for over 65 years. Father of Joanne(Darwin)Nehls and John "Jay"(Helen). Grandfather of Teresa Nehls, Craig Nehls, Amy(Pete Cortright)Nehls, Sara(Brad)Kirch, Todd(Michelle)Wintheiser, Scott(Jessica)Wintheiser, Andrew(Jennifer)Wintheiser, Michael(Tammy)Haase, Stephen(Heather)Haase, Amy(Tim)Hurley and the late Kevin Nehls. Brother of Mary Shanehan, Herman(Dorothy)Wintheiser and Thomas(Beverly)Wintheiser. Brother-in-law of Hazel Hunn and Delores Olund. Also loved by 8 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends. John retired from Shell Oil Co. and served in the Air Force during WWII. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Martin of Tours Church or Aurora Visiting Nurses Hospice, appreciated. Visitation at ST. MARTIN OF TOURS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7963 S. 116th St., Franklin, on Wednesday, May 13 from 9-10:45 AM . Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Burial at the church cemetery to follow.
