John H. Sutton

March 25, 1920 — October 19, 2007

Sutton, John H. ''Jack'' 87 years young was taken suddenly Friday, October 19, 2007 after a massive heart attack. Jack is survived by his beloved wife Irma-Jo(Dopp)Sutton. They were married five years, four months and four days and they brought great joy to each other, their church, their friends and family. His first wife, Marjorie, predeceased him after fifty-six years of a loving marriage. Jack is survived by his wife, Irma-Jo, his daughter Jane(Lee)Lansinger, and sons James(Barbara)Sutton, and Jay(Susan)Sutton; grandchildren Jennifer(Michael)Casper, Melanie(Daniel)Vassar, Matthew Sutton, Jeffrey Lansinger, Thomas Sutton, Elizabeth Sutton and Rachel Sutton. He is also survived by his sisters Dorothy Gordon and Charlotte Bigelow. He is further survived by three step-children, four step-grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren as well as other relatives and friends. Jack worked for 44 years at the Ladish Company as a sales engineer. He was a leading figure in the founding of Faith Community Church in Franklin, spearheading the building committee, and providing the land for the church building. He was especially proud of the congregation and pastor of Faith Community Church for their Christ centered programs and he enjoyed singing in the choir. Years before he was a Boy Scout leader, a Mason and president of the Raymond School Board. Services will be held at Faith Community Church, 7700 W. Faith Drive, Franklin, WI (off S. 76th St. between Imperial and Drexel), on Saturday, October 27 with visitation from 10 AM to 11 AM and a Memorial Service at 11 AM. There will be a private interment. Those wishing to remember Jack with a memorial may give to the charity of their choice or to Faith Community Church.
