John H. Diekfuss Was called home to the Lord on September 1, 2021 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Margaret “Peggy” (nee Hoeffler) for 52 years. Loving father of Susan (Wayne), Diane (Paul), John (Tina), Robert (Stephanie), Lisa (Michael), Paul (Marie), and Joseph (Rebecca). Proud grandpa of Jenna (Steven), Jacob, Joshua, Jarod, Joseph, Deanna (Dan), Dylan (Anna), Gavin, Devin, Colton (Brei), Austin, Megan, John, Samuel, Maximus, Elliot, Liam, Summer, Hunter, Robert, Ashley, Angelica, Ethan, Kylie, Logan, Landon, Peyton, Emily, Brooke, Leah, Ava, Thomas, Liam, and Dominic. Great-grandpa of Tyler, Carter, Bransen, Jordy, Vinny, Russell, and Peyton. Dear brother of the late William (Carolyn). Further survived by nieces and nephews, many loved relatives, and friends. John was the proud owner of the Diekfuss Family Farm and retired from the City of Muskego DPW. John will be dearly missed, loved, and always remembered by his entire family. Visitation will be held at Max A. Sass & Sons-Westwood Chapel on Wednesday, September 8 from 4PM-7PM. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Clare Catholic Church (7616 Fritz St., Windlake) on Thursday, September 9 at 10AM. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Waukesha.
