John F. Binder Beloved husband of Lynn Binder (Nee Asp). Loving father of Karen (Dennis) Yaccarino, Jim (Sarah Schmidt) Binder, Steven (Jeanne Monday) Binder, Ann Binder Schaefer and David (Sandra Buss) Binder. Dear grandfather of Zachary (Morgan Korczynski), Jennifer, Daniel, Nicole, Andrew and Erin Yaccarino. Jessica and Adam Schaefer, Nicholas (Catherine) Caruso-Schaefer, Emily (Patrick) Gibbons, Brooke, Brad, Connor, Travis, Maxwell, Samantha Binder and the late Joshua Yaccarino. He is survived by his sister Kathleen “Midge” Robl. John was born in Oshkosh, WI to parents Frank & Margie (Nee McCarthy) Binder. He is the youngest of seven children. He graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Menasha and from Marquette University holding a BS & MS in chemistry. He spent a career in medical product and material development and took great pride in his professional contributions to his field of expertise. He was a family man who loved working with his children in their hobbies and interests, such as radio-controlled airplanes, hunting, fishing and music. John was very dedicated to his community as a member of the library board, trustee of St. Alphonsus Parish and enjoyed playing Dumbledore during local Harry Potter release parties. John was a proud grandfather and an active follower of his grandchildren’s endeavors including music, sports, theater, religious events, education, extra-curriculars and frequent graduations. Memorial Visitation Wednesday June 1, 2022 from 9 - 10:45 AM with the Memorial Mass to begin at 11 AM. at St. Alphonsus Church (6060 W. Loomis Rd. Greendale, WI). Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Wisconsin Parkinson’s Association or Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin would be appreciated.
