Watson, John C. Found peace on November 21, 2017 at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Schauwitzer) for 49 years. Loving dad of Jeff (Nicole) Watson. Proud grandpa gramps of Devin, Jake and Maddie Watson. Dear brother of Mary Watson and Charlene George. Fond brother-in-law of Peggy, Steve (Lynn), Ken (Charlene) and Bill (Mary) Schauwitzer. Preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Jeanette, and his brother-in-law Dave Schauwitzer. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation Friday December 1, 2017 from 4 until 5:45 pm with a service at 6 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church (1052 Whiterock Ave, Waukesha). Private interment Wisconsin Memorial Park. John retired from the Milwaukee Journal and enjoyed hunting, shooting sports and photography. John was a genuinely nice person who enjoyed making people laugh who loved spending time with his best friend Barb, his family and friends. Max A.
