Joanne E. Hancox

July 4, 1934 — January 15, 2017

Age 82. Of Menomonee Falls. Died, Sunday, January 15. She was born to Anton and Mayme Reiter, raised in Jim Falls and later moved to Milwaukee to raise her 3 girls. She lived in Arizona for several years where she made many life long friends. Joanne will be remembered for her great sense of humor, strength, generosity, love of family and strong Catholic faith. Survivors include her daughters, Mary (David) Wilson of Madison, Carol Blasier of Eagle, Terri (Dave) Dodge of Muskego; seven grandchildren, Steve (Lisa) Koehler, Kourtney (Troy) Salnajs, Megan Bersch, Monica Bersch (Kurtis), Benjamin (Krista) Blasier, Brittany Blasier (Matt) and Alexandria Pares; nine great grand children, Stephanie, Maggie, Alec, Ava, Mia, Emily, Josiah, Elliot and Finnley; many nieces, nephews and friends in Wisconsin and Arizona, specially Billy and Annie. She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Toni Rufledt, Monica "Mickey" McDonell, Doris Wistein, Audrey Reiter; four brothers, Denny "Dougan", Jim, Tom and Bob Reiter, one grandson, Mathew Pares and one great grandson, Aden. Visitation at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel on Friday, January 20 from 4- 7 pm. Vigil Service at 7 pm. Additional visitation on Saturday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 3722 S. 58th St., from 9 9:45 am. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am. Burial at Highland Memorial Park.
