Miller Joan M. "Joni" Nee Schmidt Of Greendale, Entered Gods loving arms after a courageous 7 year battle with cancer on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at the age of 66. Beloved wife and best friend of Larry for 42 years. Mother of Samantha (Louis) Burnette. Step mother of Carl (Jeri Perkins) Buckner. Sister of Edward (Mary) Schmidt. Special aunt of Kathleen (Steve) Stippich and Paul Schmidt. God daughter of Betty Mauer. Further survived by her loving cat Scooter other family and friends. Visitation at the Max A. Sass and Sons funeral home, Greenridge Chapel, 4747 S. 60th St. on Saturday, September 14, 11 am 1 pm. Funeral service at 1pm. In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to the Elmbrook Humane Society.
