Joan M. Crossman (nee Surges) Entered into Eternal Life on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at the age of 66. Beloved wife of John for almost 40 years. Loving mother of Molly (Jacob) Schick, Sean (Kristen) Crossman and Evan (Katie) Crossman. Devoted and adoring grandmother of Henry and Avery Schick and Ember and River Crossman. Dear daughter of Margaret and the late Raymond Surges. Caring sister of Mary, Greg and Mike (Lyn) Surges. Sister-in-law of Elizabeth Frei. Aunt of Allie and Devon Surges, Lindsey Smiley and Gregory Frei. Joan will always be remembered for her dedication to her kids at Manitoba School and loved and missed by other friends and relatives. Visitation at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel on Wednesday, December 15 from 4 - 7 PM. Eulogies at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, December 16 at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 9306 W. Beloit Rd., at 11 AM. (please meet directly at church) In lieu of memorials, remember to tend to your garden.
