Joan E. Hoogland

Joan E. Hoogland, 74 died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 9, 2005 at her residence in Greenfield, WI. She was born on August 30, 1930 in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Frederick and Grace (Morressy) Behrens. She married Walter Hoogland on August 5, 1950. He died Dec. 2, 1983. She is survived by twelve loving children, Nancy (Lawrence) Jacobs, Sandra Arnold, Susan ( Steven) Hoogland, Karen (Gerald) Shilling, Dawn Hoogland, Linda Hoogland, Donald (Margo) Hoogland, John Hoogland, William (Debbie) Hoogland, Robert (Dianna) Hoogland, Peter Hoogland and Joseph (Debbie) Hoogland; eight beloved grandchildren, Cindy, David, Jennifer, Stevie, Erica, Melissa, Paul and Michelle; three dear great grandchildren, Emily, Daniel, and Marcus and two sisters, Phyllis Landfried and Margie Angell. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother, Fred Behrens. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Wednesday with a 7:00 PM Vigil service at MAX A. SASS & SONS - Greenridge Chapel, 4747 S. 60th Street, Greenfield, WI and from 9:30 - 11:00 AM on Friday in St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Catawba, WI. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the church at 11:00 AM on Friday. Interment will follow in Cawtaba Cemetery.
