Joan Ann Tadich

Joan Tadich (nee Garms) passed away April 21, 2021, at the age of 95, at Harbor Village Home. She was preceded in death by her husband Peter after 35 years of marriage. She was the youngest of five children and preceded in death by her parents Fred and Anna Garms, her siblings Albert Garms (Hermine), Evelyn Solverson (Lester), Ruth Lembcke (Paul), and Ralph Garms (Lois). Joan graduated from Custer High School in 1944, attended the UWM consortium of business schools and was the first of the Garms family to graduate from college with a Bachelors Degree in Business in 1948. Upon graduation, Joan went to work for Gerke Sales group in Glendale, rising through the ranks of the office staff to manage the whole company operation, retiring after 30+ years. Joan enjoyed playing bingo and playing cards. Additionally, she and her husband enjoyed ballroom dancing. Although she was perceived as all-business oriented throughout her whole life, many in her family with a close relationship received benevolences in many forms. She enjoyed sharing her resources to support them in their time of need. Her late niece, Annette (nee Solvereson) Westphal (Ronnie) was her friend and confident through life. She is survived by--- Sister-in-law Lois Garms (Ralph) of Hartland, Wisconsin Nephew Bob Garms (Bonnie) of Xonia, WI Nephew Larry Garms (Toni) of Fond du Lac, WI Nephew Ronald (Jan) Garms Nephew David (Jackie) Garms Niece Emily nee Garms Rott (Wally) of Grand Rapids, MI Niece Ellen nee Garms Schwenke (Jerry) of Colgate, WI Nephew John Frederich Garms (Carol) of Woodruff, WI Nephew Tom Lembcke of Racine, WI Nephew Roy Lembcke of Madison, WI Niece Judy nee Lembcke Noles Neice Janet nee Lembcke (Pat) Hennessey Niece Laurel nee Lembcke (Randall) Lithg Nephew Jim Lembcke of Milwaukee, WI Aunt Joans’ funeral preparation is thru the Max A Sass & Sons Funeral Home and her interment will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park. Flowers and donations have not been requested. Her celebration of life, family, prayerful goodbyes, and a final blessing with immediate family members will take place at a later date.
