Tzakais, Jerry Age 85, died peacefully surrounded by his family on April 16, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Theodora. Loving father of Christ (Alice) Tzakais and Angeline (Dennis) Keys. Proud Papou of Jerry Tzakais, Christina (Joel) Ongert, Manusos Bicouvaris, Theodora (Chris) Davis, Dianna (Steven) Mortensen, and Maria Bicouvaris. Further survived by 12 great-grandchildren, his brother Nick Tzakais, his sisters Cecelia Theoharris and Helen Tsatsis. Companion and soul mate of Mary Jo Wolf. Further survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Jerry served his country in the US Navy during WWII aboard the USS Cronin (DE704), member of International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers, Worshipful Master of the Independence Lodge #80 F. & A.M and a volunteer for 9 years in the Escort Department at VA Medical Center. Visitation on Friday, April 19, 2013 from 930am to 10am at ANNUNCIATION GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH, 9400 W. Congress Street with Funeral Mass at 10am. Entombment Rienzi Cemetery in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin on Friday at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson's Association appreciated. MAX A.
