Jerimie Lee Waterstraat

Heaven just got a whole lot more exciting. Jerimie Lee “Straat” Waterstraat was called to his heavenly home on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at the age of 46. He is survived by his loving parents, Roy and Christine Waterstraat and siblings Jaysen (Maureen) Waterstraat, Jennifer Waterstraat, and Jolene (Jason) Rosploch. He was an amazing “funcle” to Alex, Anna, Brady, and Wyatt. Also well loved by extended family and friends. Jerimie lived life by his own rules. He lived simply and passionately. He found joy in watching nature around him. He loved others without judgment and would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. He loved Jesus and wanted others to love Jesus. His big personality will be missed here on Earth and surely to be enjoyed by his heavenly family, Dolores, Norbert, Michael, LeRoy, Gloria, and Bruce. A funeral and celebration of Jerimie’s life will be held on Thursday, May 12, at Mercy Hill Church (2842 S. 5th Ct, Milwaukee). Visitation from 4-6 with funeral to follow at 6pm. All who knew Jerimie are welcome to attend. “It’s something unpredictable, but in the end it’s right. I hope you had the time of your life.” In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Jerimie’s honor to St. Jude’s Children's Hospital or the American Heart Association to help fund research to fight heart disease which took his life at the young age of 46.
