Jeremy Jr. was born on July 21, 2020, to Delivion “Livi” Hansen and Jeremy Heinichen, Sr. At Livi’s 20-week ultrasound, Jeremy Jr. was found to have hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS). HLHS is a congenital heart condition where some of the heart does not develop. At one week old Jeremy Jr. underwent a Norwood procedure to begin to correct blood flow through his heart, after the Norwood procedure, he had a Glenn procedure. After the Glenn, Jeremy Jr’s heart could not handle the extra stress. Jeremy Jr. had another surgery to reverse the Glenn and he was placed on a transplant list. On January 7, 2022, Jeremy Jr. received his new heart. Over the next few weeks, he got stronger and was even able to go home and be with his family. A few weeks later he developed an infection and had to be readmitted to the hospital. God brought Jeremy Jr. to heaven on Monday, April 11, 2022. He is now at peace and pain free. He joins his grandmother Lori Lynn Wittlieff in heaven. Jeremy Jr. leaves behind his loving parents, 2 sisters, 1 brother, aunts, uncles, grandparents and numerous people that he has touched during his time on earth. Jeremy was incredibly loved and had the most infectious smile that brightened everyone’s day and brought joy to so many people. He brought out the best in every single person that he met. "If there ever becomes a day when we can't be together, keep me in your heart, I'll stay there forever".
