Jennifer J. Reed, a loving mother, devoted fiancee, and cherished friend, passed away on May 31, 2023, in New Berlin, Wisconsin. Born on April 12, 1982, in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, Jennifer's vibrant spirit and infectious laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Jennifer was the beloved daughter of Michael and Karen Reed, and the dear sister of Dennis Reed and his wife, Jenna. She was a special aunt to Sloan and Rue Reed, and a loving fiancee to Mark Shank. Jennifer's greatest joy in life was being a mother to her five children, Kaylee May Cortes, Austin Gross, Jayden Gross, Dyllan Gross, and Jaxson Gross. She is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members, and a few good friends who will fondly remember her as a beacon of love and laughter.
A proud graduate of New Berlin West High School in 2001, Jennifer was known for her outgoing personality and her ability to be the life of the party. Her laughter was contagious, and her presence could light up any room. Jennifer's love for life was evident in her dedication to her family, friends, and community.
Jennifer had a deep love for animals, especially turtles, tortoises, dogs, and chickens. Her passion for the outdoors led her to plant and care for many beautiful flowers and plants, creating a haven for both her family and the creatures she adored. Jennifer's selfless nature and her love for all living things were truly inspiring.
In addition to her love for animals and the outdoors, Jennifer enjoyed spending time with her family and being a mom. She cherished every moment spent with her children, whether it was attending their sporting events or simply enjoying a quiet evening at home. Jennifer's love for her family was evident in everything she did, and her children were her greatest source of pride and joy.
Jennifer's interests also included gathering with neighbors for bonfires, where her laughter and warmth would bring people together. Her ability to connect with others and make them feel welcome and loved was one of her most endearing qualities.
Jennifer was a loving, funny, and selfless person who touched the lives of many. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Max Sass Funeral Home - Westwood Chapel on Thursday, June 8, 2023, from 11 AM until a time of sharing at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to her children.
As we remember Jennifer, let us celebrate her life and the love she shared with all who knew her. Her laughter, her kindness, and her unwavering love for her family will forever be cherished in our hearts. Rest in peace, Jennifer J. Reed.
