Jennifer D. Zengle

Zengle, Jennifer D. (nee Sliwicki). Our sweet Jennifer lost her courageous battle with cancer on September 8, 2010, one month shy of her 35th birthday. Loving wife of Rob. Special step-mother of Savana. Thoughtful and beautiful daughter of Bill and Kathy Sliwicki. Adored sister of Julie (Al) Anderson and Joe Sliwicki, who will forever miss her caring guidance. Cherished granddaughter of Grace and the late John Moha and the late Emilia and the late Joseph Sliwicki. Dear daughter-in-law of Russ and Bunny Zengle. Patient "mom" of her dog Lucy. Jennifer will be deeply missed by her best friends Amy Haliburton, Cyndi Zengle, Kelley Gieryn, her aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends and co-workers. A Celebration of Jennifer's life will be held on Saturday at 1:30 pm at the Max A. Sass & Sons Mission Hills Chapel. Memorial visitation Saturday 10 am until the time of service. Jennifer was a 1993 graduate of Franklin High School where she was very involved with the Pom Squad, returning after graduation to volunteer as a coach. During and after high school she was a dedicated employee of Burger King. She went on to become a nurse, graduating from Gateway Technical College. After becoming an RN, Jennifer worked at St. Francis, St. Lukes (6 GHJKLM and General OR) and Advanced Pain Management/WHC. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Frick, Connie and the entire 9th floor staff at Aurora Advanced Oncology for their compassionate care. Puzzle races, holiday hunts and fantasy football will never be the same without you. We will all miss you so very much.
