Jeffrey "Jeff" A. Van Alstine
Entered into Eternal Life on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at the age of 62. Loving husband of Laura for 27 years. Dear brother of James (Debbie) Van Alstine and Judith (Mike Hein) Van Hein. Uncle of Andrew and Steven (Janelle Vultaggio) Van Alstine, Katherine (Noah) Van Arnold, Matthew (Brittany) and Eric Hein. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents David and Bernice Van Alstine. Beloved son-in-law of Wayne and Lucy Wagner, brother-in-law of Kara Wagner, Warren Wagner and Linda (Paul) Gogan and loving uncle to Annika, Sonia and Nicholas.

Jeff dedicated 20 years in sales and support for his dad's automotive equipment and service business. He finished his career in retail, working for Menards for 17 years.

Beyond his work, Jeff had a passion for lighthouses. This fascination went beyond mere interest; it was a symbol of his guiding light principle, which he embodied in his actions and relationships.

In December 2023 Jeff was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and fought a courageous fight.

Jeff's departure leaves a void in the lives of those who were fortunate enough to cross paths with him. His legacy, however, is one of joy, resilience, and the power of human connection. He was a beacon of light offering guidance and support to friends, family, and strangers alike.

Many thanks to Jeff’s ALS Care Team at Froedtert Hospital and the staff at the ALS Association for the great care and support they provided him.

And special thanks to Todd Owens, who didn’t know it at the time, was there for the last moments of Jeff’s life and provided support for Jeff and Laura in their time of need. Todd you made his day a memorable one and for that we are forever grateful.

Visitation at the Max A. Sass & Sons Mission Hills Chapel, 8910 W. Drexel Ave., Franklin, on Saturday, January 4th, 2025 from 10am-1pm with the Funeral Service to follow at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the ALS Association Wisconsin Chapter appreciated.
