Jeffrey "Jeff" John Vanden Boom

June 17, 1984 — July 26, 2023

Jeffrey John “Jeff” Vanden Boom, 39, of Greendale, passed away July 26, 2023 from injuries sustained in an accidental fall in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

Jeff was a graduate of Franklin High School, attended UWM, and had a successful long standing career in sales. Most recently, he was employed by Wisconsin Building Supply. He loved dogs (and they loved him!), gaming, debating conspiracy theories, TomKens wings, the Bucks, Packers, and Brewers. Above everything, his greatest love and proudest achievement was his beloved son Brayden Harvey.

Jeff is survived by his son Brayden; parents, Tom & Judy; sister Susie; brother Tom & sister-in-law Karla; nephew Ethan; nieces Brienne & Quinn; and Cibulka & Vanden Boom aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He is preceded in death by grandparents Richard & Alice Cibulka, and Elmer & Clara Vanden Boom. In addition to immediate family, his loved ones include Jessica Malanche, Katie Harvey, Keith Harvey, the late Paul Harvey, Rob Romo, Mike Walman, and so many he cared deeply for, including Carmen Kohler.

He will be greatly missed for his TV and movie reviews, and his sense of humor -- particularly his inside joke where "just joking" morphed into "JAH!"

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 16 from 10-11:30 a.m. at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church (7963 S 116th St., Franklin, WI). Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30. Private interment.

In lieu of flowers, donations toward a fund to be set up for Brayden’s education are appreciated.
