Jeanne A. Cerk

Cerk, Jeanne A. (Nee Austin) died peacefully after a brief illness on June 9, 2017 at the age of 75. Beloved wife of Norman S. for 50 years. Loving mother of Norman J. (Heewon) Cerk and Nancey (Mike) Gerard. Proud grandmother of Jack, Callum, Gavin, Cate and Luca. Dear sister of John Austin. Sister-in-law of Russell (Lee) Cerk and Diane Gibson. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jeanne was raised and educated in Pittsburgh, graduating from Carnegie Mellon University in music performance. Upon graduation, Jeanne auditioned with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and then spent the next 30 years playing the French horn with them. Upon retirement, Jeanne was a real estate broker for 15 years. Memorial Service on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 11am at SAINT PAULS EPISCOPAL CHURCH, 914 E. Knapp Street with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra or St. Pauls Episcopal Church appreciated.
