Jaspal Singh Oberoi

October 1, 1951 — September 28, 2024

Jaspal Singh Oberoi was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. He was born on October 1st, 1951, in India, to Sardar Gajan Singh Oberoi and Sardarni Gobind Kaur. He married his wife Promila on September 14th, 1970. He has left behind with her their two children, Kuldeep and Ekta, and his six grandchildren.

Jaspal Singh Oberoi was a man of integrity and strength, but he is known by everyone for his never-ending generosity. His life was extraordinary, and his achievements are insurmountable. From India to America, he has seen it all and done it all and should be proud of the life he led. We’ll never meet anyone like him as he was truly one in a billion and had the biggest heart any of us has ever seen. He was a jolly, sweet man who loved to joke around and brought joy to the lives of everyone around him. Jaspal was a brave and courageous man. Anyone can see an example of his heroism when you search for “Punjabi hero fights back armed robbers” on YouTube, and again when he battled against his cancer for 6 years. Even with so much pain, he never once complained. Sadly, he was taken from us after his oral cancer spread, and his kidney and liver failed.

He fell into a deep sleep on Wednesday September 25th, 2024, and took his final breath on Saturday September 28th, 2024. Fate was cruel to have him leave in such a painful way, but now he is with god, where he is giving us his blessings in heavens above. He’s free from the mortal world, and we can only pray that he will be happy in his next life. Mr. Jaspal Singh Oberoi was a wonderful man and the love he showed is immeasurable and will never be forgotten. We’ll always love you.
