Jason T. Shebesta

October 22, 1991 — October 24, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jason T. Shebesta, who left us peacefully on October 24, 2024, at the age of 33.

He is survived by both his parents, Dave and Helen, his older sister Christina (Breezy), and his older brother Justin. He is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and friends.

Jason was a true book lover. The Harry Potter series held a special place in his heart, which he shared with his brother Justin. He delighted in collecting not only the books but also an array of Harry Potter-themed souvenirs. His collection was a testament to his creativity and imagination as well as his love for the magical world of Harry Potter and the joy it brought him.

Jason was a man of many passions and a skilled CNC machinist by trade. His dedication to his craft was evident in the precision and care he took with each project and the stellar reviews he received from co-workers and supervisors alike. Jason was a lifelong learner, always eager to expand his knowledge and skills in his field and beyond. His colleagues admired him for his intelligence and his unwavering commitment to perfection.

Jason’s curiosity about the world extended to his palate. He relished experiencing different cultures through their cuisine and was always excited to experiment with new foods. He loved trying new restaurants, exploring new recipes, and cooking with his sister. His enthusiasm for food was contagious and he continuously tried to get his mom and dad to expand their palates with new flavors and dishes. (It didn’t work)

Above all, Jason was a beloved family member who was loved for his compassion, his kind soul, and his big heart. His family provided a foundation of love and support. His presence in the lives of his loved ones will be deeply missed and his absence leaves a void that can never be filled.

Jason will be remembered as an intelligent and inquisitive individual. His legacy is one of passion, learning as much as possible about the world and beyond, and connecting with people at home and abroad. As we mourn his untimely departure, we also celebrate the years we were fortunate to share with him.

We take comfort in knowing that Jason lived his life to the fullest, always living life on his terms. His memory will live on in the stories shared, the books cherished, and the lives he touched.

Jason T. Shebesta will be profoundly missed by all who knew him, and his spirit will continue to inspire us every day. As we say goodbye, we reflect on the happiness and love he brought into our lives and we are grateful for every moment we spent with him. Rest in peace, dear Jason; your story may have ended, but your chapters in our hearts will be read and reread forever.
