LAU-BOETTNER Janina Maxine (Lewandowski) . Of Dearborn, MI, (formerly of Cudahy, WI). Age 89. Feb. 2, 2007. Janina was a kindergarten teacher, a registered Occupational Therapist, and was known for her hand made hats, love of teaching, passion for languages and love of life. Predeceased by loving husband George H. Boettner, Jr., first husband Wilbur H. Lau, father Adam Lewandowski, and mother Stella Abramski. Survived by cousins Bernadette Foote of Oxford, WI; Daisy Poppe of Cudahy, WI; Eric Tyczkowski of Milwaukee, WI; Natalie Tucholka of Milwaukee, WI; and Alice Witt of Fall Brook, CA. Also survived by three step children: Rosanne (Charlie) Kiczek of Gray, GA; Mary (Fred) Zampa of Macon, GA; and George Jeff H., III (Cynthia) Boettner of Shelburne Falls, MA. A funeral service was held in Michigan. A Wisconsin memorial service will be held in spring at the Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Cudahy, WI.
