Jan was a graduate of Pulaski High School and continued her education at Alverno College where she graduated with a degree in Medical Technology. Her love of her career pushed her to acquire a Specialist in Blood Banking (SBB) through the
Blood Center of Wisconsin. She began her career at St. Francis Hospital, then using her SBB to work at the Blood Center and she finished her career at Aurora St. Luke’s.
Jan enjoyed cheering on Wisconsin football teams, baking old family recipes and gambling; both locally and in Las Vegas.
The family would like to thank Dr. Antony Ruggeri and his team at Aurora Cancer Care for their care and compassion during Jan’s fight and Compassionate Care Hospice for their care in her final days.
Following Jan’s wishes no services will be held. If you wish to honor Jan’s life, please consider making a donation to the charity of your choice.
