Jan M. Borowicz

(Nee Mijal). Passed away surrounded by her loving family on October 18, 2018 at the age of 82. Loving wife of Jim Borowicz for 42 years. Loving mother of Joan (Jeff) Wolffersdorff, Jean Lehouillier, and Julie (Keith) Wing. Cherished grandma of Paul (Shawn Marie), Racquel (Mike), Eric (Cass), Kevin (Annie), Jeremy, Jared, Brandon (fiancé Kristine), Melissa, and Christopher. Great-grandma of Oskar and Edgar. Dear sister of Florence (the late Bob) Maciejewski. Preceded in death by her first husband Jerry Maciejewski and her brothers Gene and Syl. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Jan attended St. Mary Czestochowa grade school and graduated from Notre Dame High School. She retired from JC Penney after many years of service. Memorial Gathering will be held at DIVINE MERCY CATHOLIC CHURCH (800 Marquette Ave., So. Milw) on Friday, October 26 from 10-10:45AM. Memorial Mass at 11AM. Private family burial will take place at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Father Gene's Help Center (5919 W. National Ave., Milwaukee 53214).
