James W. Bystrek

Bystrek, James W. "Jim" Of Milwaukee. Passed away peacefully on Monday, August 15, 2011 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of 54 years to Virginia M. (Nee Peters) Bystrek. Devoted dad of Richard (Sharon), Robert (Cindy) and Douglas (Laura) Bystrek. Loving grandpa of Ryan, Andy, Jennifer, Kevin, Ian, Allison and Avery Bystrek. Brother of Mary Scollard. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Blanche and his siblings, Helen Majeres, Lillian Mohning and Charles Bystrek. Jim had a great love of his family, the Packers, fishing and building things with his hands. Visitation at the Funeral Home on Thurs., August 18, 2011 from 4-7PM, Vigil Service 6:45PM. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, August 19, at St. John Kanty Church-Blessed John Paul II Parish, 966 W. Dakota St., 10:30AM. Entombment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
