James Robert Staudacher, Died in Milwaukee, WI. following a long battle with Parkinson's disease on Sunday, August 14, 2016 age of 74. Father of Patrick (Jill) Staudacher and Sheila (Andy) Hoffmann. Brother of Jack (Laura) Staudacher and Jean Althaus. He is further survived by Monica Staudacher, 6 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Memorial gathering at St Alphonsus Church, 6060 W. Loomis Rd. on Friday, August 26, 9-11am. Mass of Christian burial at 11am. Interment to follow at Mt. Olivet. In lieu of flowers please donate to the National Parkinson's association. Born in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Elmer and Ramona Staudacher. Graduated from Loras College in Dubuque, IA with a History Degree and a Masters in Latin and Greek studies. He received a Masters Degree in Library Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Worked in Mason City, IA then moved to Madison, WI in 1971 where he worked until retirement in the Madison Public School System. Max A.
