James R. “Jim” Hundt, Sr. Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on March 5, 2021 three days before his 86th birthday. Best husband in the whole wide world of Patricia (nee Kujac) Hundt for 66 years. Loving father of James (Leslie) Hundt, Jr., Michael Hundt and “grand-dog” Cheeto, and Jennifer (Steven) Mastrogiacomo. Proud Grandpa of Gabriella Leuck. Preceded in death by his parents Lester and Mary (nee Clark) Hundt, his sister Marilyn (John) Folts and his brothers Lester (Alma) and Dennis Hundt. Survived by his sister-in-law Diane Hundt and his Brother-in-law James (Linda) Kujac. Further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Jim retired from AC Spark Plug/General Motors in 1997 and was a classic car enthusiast and collector of classic car memorabilia. He was also active with his wife Patricia as members of the St. James Church Choir. Jim was a man who valued his wife and family first, and prioritized his time to lend a helpful hand to anyone who needed him. Visitation on Thursday March 11, 2021 at St. James Catholic Church 7219 S. 27th St. Franklin from 11 am until the Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Final resting place will be at Forest Hill Memorial Park in Oak Creek. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to St. Jude’s Children’s research Hospital in Jim’s name would be appreciated.
