James R. "Jim" Brown

James R. Brown passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the age of 62. Preceded in death by his mother, Doreen Brown and father, Roland W Brown, of Greenfield and his sister Linda Cameron and her husband Glenn Cameron. Survived by sister and best friend Karol (Jim) Cink and sister Kristin (Andy) Cmeyla, and his nephews and nieces Matthew Ignatiev, Emily Ignatiev, Peter (Jessica) Ignatiev, Bryan (Julie) Cink, Rachel Cink, and Justin (Sara) Brogni. The family would like to express their appreciation to James’ long time caregiver, Antionette Butler. As sad as we all are, there is also a sense of relief that he is finally free from the confinement of his physical and mental limitations he suffered from as the result of a motorcycle accident when he was only 18 years old. He kept his sense of humor to the end and will be greatly missed. The family will hold a celebration of his life in Door County in July.
