James L. Shea, Jr.

January 6, 1959 — June 30, 2023

James L. Shea, Jr., affectionately known as Jim to his friends and family, passed away unexpectedly in his home in Raymond on June 30, 2023. Born on January 6, 1959, in Milwaukee, Jim lived a full and meaningful life marked by his generosity, handiness, and selflessness.

Jim was a beloved husband to Elizabeth for 27 years and a dedicated father to daughters Melissa (Peter) Owen and Erika Wotnoske. He was a doting grandfather to Nathaniel and Emmalyn. Jim was a cherished brother to Kathleen (Robert) Siegel,

and uncle, brother-in-law, and cousin to many.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, James Sr. and Evelyn, brother Greg, and sister-in-law Patricia.

Professionally, Jim was the successful owner and operator of JLS Truck Service. His dedication to his work was evident in the quality service he provided and the relationships he built with those he met through Payne and Dolan. His professional integrity and commitment were widely recognized and appreciated within his industry.

Beyond work, Jim had a deep love for restoring old cars, a hobby that showcased his innate mechanical skills and attention to detail. His family and friends were often the lucky recipients of his handiwork. Jim's love for the outdoors was seen in his passion for cutting grass and planting trees.

Indeed, Jim was a great neighbor and friend to many, always willing to lend a helping hand. Whether it was a leaky faucet, a broken appliance, or a stalled car, Jim was always there to help, demonstrating his selflessness and care for others.

Jim will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and community, but his spirit will live on in the many lives he touched. Rest in peace, James L. Shea, Jr.
