James "Jim" Ramus

"Jim" Born to eternal life on June 19, 2019, age 65 years. Preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Ardis Ramus. Loving brother of Nancy (El) Schneider. Fond uncle of Timothy, Jennifer, and Andrew Schneider. Also loved and remembered by other relatives and friends. Jim was a lifelong music lover and an accomplished musician on several instruments, including the guitar, mandolin, and piano. He often provided original composition CD's to family members for special occasions. His kindness will be missed. Jim spent a large portion of his adult life in the San Diego area where he processed electronic medical records and developed his computer skills which he enjoyed using on a daily basis. Upon returning to the Milwaukee area, he devoted several afternoons per week volunteering at various local hospitals. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 27 from 2 - 3 PM at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel with a Memorial Service at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) or the Milwaukee Rescue Mission are appreciated.
