James "Jim" Holtz, born on March 26, 1951, in Akron, NY, passed away too soon on May 9, 2024, in Cudahy, WI, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose warmth and humor touched all who knew him.
Jim was the beloved husband of Pat for 48 years, a testament to their enduring love and partnership. He was a loving father to Matthew Holtz and Sarah (Grant) Johnson. He was a proud grandpa to Nathan Holtz, Isaiah Janicek, and Franklin Boody.
He is also survived by his sister, Nancy Holtz, and brother, Dan (Sue) Holtz. Jim's best friend, Stu Sherman, will miss the camaraderie and adventures they shared together. He will be missed by his nieces, nephews, in-laws, other family members, friends, and his two greyhounds, Miller and Rose.
Jim served his country honorably for six years in the US Navy. His career in electronics design and sales spanned over forty years.
Jim loved the outdoors, especially the majestic mountains of Colorado, which he visited once a year.
Those who knew Jim would describe him as loving, funny, and thoughtful—a man who never missed an opportunity to make others feel valued and loved. Rest in peace, Jim; your love, laughter, and thoughtfulness will never be forgotten.
