James "Jim" Dombeck

Dombeck, James "Jim" Born to Eternal life on Saturday, September 14, 2013. He was 85. Beloved husband of over 57 years to Audrey (Nee Krystowiak). Loving Dad to John (Catherine) and Mark (Carol) Dombeck. Special "Grampa" to Christopher (his fiance Megan), Brian, Timothy, Jessica and Sam Dombeck. Dear brother to Rita (the late Eugene) Meyer. Further survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Jim was raised in Port Washington. He went on to serve 4 years in the US Navy and was proudly stationed on the USS Kearsarge. Jim was a dedicated employee of Wisconsin Electric retiring with over 35 years of service. He was devoted member of Divine Mercy Parish and a former trustee. He served on various boards within the church and was also a past director of Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. Jim was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He enjoyed boating and trips "up north" as well as being in his own backyard. He will be sadly missed. Visitation will be in DIVINE MERCY CATHOLIC CHURCH (800 Marquette Avenue, South Milwaukee) on Friday, September 20, 2013 from 9 to 10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM. Entombment will be in ST. ADALBERT CEMETERY on Saturday, September 21 at 10 AM. Please meet at the cemetery entrance.
