Loving dad of Joel (Marcia), Daniel (Kathleen) and Janet Mitchell. Proud grandpa of Troy (Teresa) and Jim (Marla) Mitchell, Ryan Isherwood, Gina (Memo) Marino, Jon (Christina) Isherwood, Kevin (Angela) Isherwood and Scott and Stephanie Simon. Cherished great grandpa of Alexis, Andrew, Kallie, Liam and Mario. Dear brother of Jack and William (June) Isherwood. Further survived by many other loving relatives and friends. A Celebration of Jim's life will be held on Saturday March 29, 2014 from 9:30 until 11:30 am with a service of remembrance at 11:30 am at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel. Private Interment Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Jim proudly served his country in the Merchant Marines from 1942 until 1946. He was the owner of Helping Hand Home Cleaners from 1951 until 1982 when he retired and left his business to his sons. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Honor Flight of Wisconsin appreciated.
